One Tree Planted

Anza Studio was born out of a love for the natural world. We are passionate about bringing the outdoors in and transforming our interior environments into sacred spaces that improve our everyday lives. But this shouldn’t stop with our interiors, which is why we are committed to transforming our earthly home as well.

Much of our business is dependent on trees. We create decor pieces from wood, ship inventory and orders using paper products, and use fragrance oils and other materials sourced from trees and foliage. We believe in environmental replenishment and giving back to the earth.

Starting today were planting a tree for every order placed through Anza Studio. Trees are incredibly important to our global ecosystem and the health of the planet as a whole. They clean the air, filter water, provide natural habitats that encourage biodiversity, provide jobs, absorb carbon from the atmosphere, and are important in the production of everything from medicine to housing. With our ever-changing landscape and the rising global temperature, we want to do everything we can to be a part of the solution and not the problem.

We’ve chosen to partner with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. Founded in 2014, One Tree Planted has projects in 43 countries and planted 10 million trees in 2020 alone. In the U.S. they partner with the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. State Forest, and Conservation District to aid in local projects.

Their work in California is near and dear to our hearts since we call this state home. California forests have been hit hard in recent years, suffering through drought, bark beetle infestations, and rampant wildfires. One Tree Planted’s reforestation efforts in the area are meant to reduce the risk of wildfires and floods, restore habitats, aid in erosion control, protect the water supply, and strengthen forest resilience.

Every month we will be donating to replenish the forests in California and all over the world. Join us in giving back and creating a better earthly home for all to enjoy.
